The 2025 Vietnam International Printing & Packaging Industry Exhibition concluded successfully on September 13. Known as Vietnam Print Pack, this is the largest and most comprehensive professional exhibition for the packaging and printing industry in Vietnam. Since its launch in 2001, the show has grown over 23 years into the most influential printing and packaging exhibition in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia.
As a key exhibitor at this year’s event, CRON presented its offset and flexo prepress systems along with intelligent printing solutions, drawing significant attention from the industry. The booth remained a hotspot throughout the exhibition, attracting customers and professional visitors from around the world. The on-site discussions were lively, creating a truly dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
Offset Plate Making
CRON introduced the TP-4648H+CTP, combining automatic slip sheet removal, plate loading, high-speed imaging, and online punching. With a 200-plate auto loader, it enables unattended operation and meets the needs of medium-format commercial printing.
As Vietnam’s packaging industry faces rising labor costs and efficiency challenges, the CRON TP-4648H+ CTP helps reduce dependence on labor and minimize errors. Aligning with the shift toward automation, it attracted strong interest at the exhibition, with many visitors experiencing it firsthand.
Flexographic Label Plate Making
CRON showcased the HDI-400S high-definition digital flexo imager, delivering a highly competitive plate-making solution for the label printing industry in Southeast Asia.
The HDI-400 supports plates up to 430 × 588 mm, covering all standard label press needs. With dual clamps, movable tail clamps, multi-resolution options, and triple dynamic balance, it works with various materials including flexo, resin, CTP, ablative film, and metal-based plates. It ensures high precision along with fast plate-making speeds.
At the exhibition, the HDI-400S stood out with its compact design, flexible operation, and strong cost-performance, perfectly meeting the core needs of the Southeast Asian label printing market and attracting many customer inquiries.
Flexographic Packaging Plate Making
At the exhibition, the HDI-2000H+ High-Definition Digital Flexo Platesetter impressed the audience with its extra-large format and high-speed plate-making performance. Its outstanding capabilities highlighted CRON’s innovation in flexo plate-making and made it one of the most eye-catching highlights of the show.
The HDI-2000H+ offers an extra-large 50 × 80 in format and 10,160 dpi imaging, making it an ideal choice for packaging, corrugated carton printers, and plate-making centers. Its upgraded 4,000/8,000 dpi laser optics support advanced screening methods like microcell and velvet screening, serving flexible packaging and daily chemical label printing with greater precision.
The HDI-2000H+ now features a movable tail clamp, enabling flexible plate handling without tape and fully automatic loading and unloading. It meets Southeast Asia’s demand for high-quality, high-volume plate making, greatly improving efficiency.
At the exhibition, many customers experienced its excellent performance and user-friendly design firsthand.
EZC Intelligent Digital Inking System
CRON’s globally innovative EZC Intelligent Digital Inking System, powered by the iColor color control system and its expert database, precisely calculates ink volumes. The EZC can be seamlessly installed on a wide range of mainstream offset presses. At the exhibition, the EZC was demonstrated on a Ryobi 52 press, achieving accurate inking in just one pass. Colors were vivid and lifelike, reaching standard quality within only 30–40 sheets, greatly improving plate change efficiency.
Many customers experienced firsthand the EZC’s one-touch inking and precise color reproduction, delivering perfect print results without manual adjustments.
The EZC brings true digital, automated, and intelligent inking—eliminating repeated color corrections by operators. With one-click printing, colors reach international standards quickly, significantly improving quality and consistency while reducing costs and ink waste. It empowers printers to cut expenses, boost efficiency, and expand into Southeast Asia’s high-end printing market.
